Different: Focussed on what matters
Risk is part of the business of delivering projects. When risk is poorly handled, disputes arise and can become an intractable problem. They impede delivery, take over a project, and rob control and value from key stakeholders.
Project Dispute Advice works to ensure project delivery stays within the control of its stakeholders, enabling commercial objectives to be achieved.

Chris has seen many projects face obstacles to delivery which have led to significant disputes, with too many treated in an ad hoc, reactive manner. These projects become mired in problems which consume resources with no end in sight. Without appropriate advice, many projects are put on a path with limited options, and from which it is very hard to escape.
“The hesitation, often failure, to address project delivery issues and dispute risk early can lead to higher legal costs later, destroy value and threaten project objectives”
Poor project delivery often results in delays, cost overruns and below par standards of performance. Ineffective management of dispute risk and resolution of disputes throughout the project life cycle adds to these outcomes.
Project participants need to develop and implement proactive strategies for effective project delivery and to manage and avoid dispute risk. Should disputes occur, they need to be resolved efficiently. Strategies to achieve this must be regularly reviewed to take account of changes in circumstances and to assess the affect on commercial objectives.
Project delivery, dispute risk and the resolution of disputes should be actively managed and properly resourced by skilful, experienced personnel until they are resolved.
“By delivering strategic legal advice throughout the project lifecycle, when required, the client remains focussed on achieving its commercial objectives.”
This is what Project Dispute Advice does.
